1. OPERATOR
LUFI is developed and operated independently by Huerlem Peters in the United Kingdom. Contact: support.lufi@gmail.com.
2. ACCEPTANCE
By creating an account or using LUFI, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and AI Transparency & Disclosure statement. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. ADULTS ONLY
LUFI is available only to users aged 18 or over. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18.
4. WHAT LUFI IS
LUFI is an artificial-intelligence companion designed for conversation, reflection, motivation and companionship. LUFI is not human, conscious or sentient.
LUFI does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, psychotherapy, legal advice, financial advice or emergency assistance.
5. AI PROCESSING CONSENT
AI conversations require permission to transmit messages and relevant context to Groq, Inc., LUFI's third-party AI-inference provider. The information transmitted and its purpose are explained before permission is requested.
You may decline by not using the AI conversation service and signing out.
6. ACCOUNTS
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. Accounts are personal and may not be sold or transferred.
7. ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not use LUFI unlawfully, abusively, fraudulently, to harm others, to bypass safety controls, to disrupt the service, to upload malware, or to infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights.
8. AI OUTPUT AND RELIANCE
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or inappropriate. Verify important information independently and never rely on LUFI instead of a qualified professional or emergency service.
9. MEMORY, CONTENT AND PRIVACY
You retain ownership of the content you provide. You permit LUFI to process it only as necessary to operate the service, generate responses, maintain Memory, provide personalisation, ensure safety and comply with law, as described in the Privacy Policy.
LUFI does not sell your conversations and does not use personal conversations to train public or third-party foundation models.
10. VOICE AND PROFILE IMAGES
Voice and photo features are optional and require device permission. You remain responsible for content you upload and must have the right to use it.
11. PAID FEATURES
Where paid subscriptions or purchases are made available, they will be offered through an authorised in-app purchase flow and governed by the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms. Prices and renewal details will be shown before purchase.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
LUFI's software, avatar, design, branding and service content are owned by the operator or licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the service in accordance with these Terms.
13. ACCOUNT DELETION AND TERMINATION
You may request account deletion through the app. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, legal requirements, security risks or discontinuation of the service.
14. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
LUFI is provided with reasonable care and skill but may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, network failures, provider outages, app-store processes or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Features may be updated, improved, replaced or removed for legal, security, technical or operational reasons.
15. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to applicable law, LUFI is not responsible for losses caused by misuse of the service or reliance on AI output contrary to these Terms.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, while consumers retain mandatory protections and courts available under the laws of their country of residence.
17. CHANGES
We may update these Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the app, website or account email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires renewed consent.
